Services for this group began in December of 1973 on an every other week basis. The first pastor was called on September 7, 1975, and services began to be held on a weekly basis. Articles of Incorporation were filed on December 18, 1975, and official organization followed on June 6, 1976 with 18 confirmed and 24 baptized members.
